The main farm is located
at 3691 Cedar Springs Road,
Rural Retreat, Virginia near
the village of Cedar
Springs, partly in Wythe
County and partly in Smyth
County, with a couple of
other farms nearby.
The elevation at SycaMoore
Meadows is about 2,700 feet,
the terrain is generally
rolling and the fields are
easily accessible. With
Cripple Creek running
through the farms, and two
springs running over 3,500
gallons per minute, water is
abundant and convenient. It
is unusual to have
significant snows at Cedar
Springs during November and
December.
The distinctive landmarks,
regardless of the route
taken to reach the farms,
are the cream colored farm
house with a big M on the
grassy bank in front of it,
and the big red barn down
below.
